Licence to Kill

According to EU law the life in and around agricultural fields should be protected against negative effects of pesticides. But are 'non-target' insects and other small animals (arthropods) really protected? We analysed the controversial EU Guideline that is used by EFSA and national authorities to implement this part of the regulation. We looked into the proposed direction for a new guideline and the influence of the pesticide industry.
